why did u do this?

you could call me a writer, you could call me a musician, and you could call me a friend.

but i wouldn't let you call me a coder or a programmer; i don't even know the difference between those two things. no, i have claude code handle all the hard stuff while i tweak what little html or css i know. even for my website, claude coded the entire backend. i don't know how any of that stuff works, i just threw claude at the wall until it did.

well, so what do i actually do? i'm learning, really. if those before me practiced through stackexchange and forum posts, then i'm learning through ai; it's less efficient for learning-vectors but more efficient and more adequate for solving problems that i actually have. that said, there are already lots of audio solutions on the chrome store (i'm willing to bet there are more now than ever, given other people using ai code bots as i have).

and if that's the case, why did i work on my own? i didn't code most of it (obviously in part because i used ai but mostly) because i forked the majority of this project from the original creator WardenDrew and later davidschlachter. however, years ago before gpt's original release (well before ai could code like a human), i used a similar plugin - lightweight, reliable, part of my everyday workflow. then, one day, it was worst than deprecated; it had been updated with malware that redirected my web traffic without my knowing for months.

i just want to have my little plugin that does exactly what i ask with no surprises. i don't think that's too much to ask.
